Having the ability to work from home or anywhere I may happen to be is making a huge difference in the my life today. Being able to have a flexible schedule is now allowing me to have quality time with my family.
I used to miss out doing many things with my family because I had to be at the office, put in extra hours, or out of town on a business trip.
Things I didn’t enjoy, but my job required me to do if I wanted to earn a living for my family.
But now thanks to being able to work from home, I can now go participate in these family outings. I can go to my daughter’s piano recital, see my son’s basketball game, etc.
A very nice change.
For the first time in my life I can schedule my work around my life. Instead of scheduling my life around my job. Thankfully that is not the case anymore.
For this work from home dad, the freedom it allows me is huge.
The Work World I Grew Up In
Having been a traditional business owner for the last 20 years. I know and have experienced the tremendous highs of success in business to the extreme lows of a recession. I worked very hard to establish and grow my businesses, sometimes only to watch my hard work disappear as a recession took away everything I had worked so hard to build. But the biggest cost to me was the time I lost with my family while working to grow my businesses.
The traditional business model is burdened with the costs of overheads, premises, staff, operating costs, etc. and the extreme stress that comes with this type of business. When the economy is booming, this business model excels very well. But when a recession comes along, owners are often faced with a total different reality. Problems such as reduced revenues, employee layoffs, financial loss and perhaps even liquidations.
I find this extremely hard to deal with, considering I have worked so hard to get to this point, and now may end up losing it all.
When working for a company, concerns are things such as long hours, stress, perhaps low pay, unable to spend quality time with your family, worrying about job stability and you are probably unable to save money to make positive changes in life, or being able to save for retirement .
Being stuck in the constant cycle of no matter how hard you work and never getting ahead.
Becoming a Work from Home Dad is now Possible
But thanks to our modern technology and the internet, there is now a totally different business model we can choose. Freedom is ours for the taking. The ‘Online Digital Lifestyle’ allows anyone the freedom and flexibility to live and work from home. Gone are the work restrictions of the past.
Giving us the ability to put our lives first before our jobs!
Earnings can finally be relative to the hard work put in. Not on what your boss feels is good enough.
An office of today can be anywhere as long as you have a laptop and an internet connection. The beach, a campground, your backyard, by the pool lounging in a tropical paradise, the choice is yours.
Sure beats being stuck in a tiny stuffy office on a beautiful day!

Technology has Allowed Dreams to Become Reality
Entrepreneurs and technically savvy business owners are creating businesses that are fully supported online. Allowing new found freedoms to live and work from wherever they choose. Their families and children are benefiting greatly from this new lifestyle.
These things where only dreams when my Dad was working.
This is a major change in how we used to imagine a business should run, something that was never available in the past. We now can have a quality of life we never imagined possible a few years ago.
Thanks to the empowerment of this technology, Entrepreneurs are able to enjoy the successes of business without having the huge financial liability and stress that a traditional business causes.
The best part of this business model is that it doesn’t require a lot of money to establish it. With the technology available today, everybody including people that are not tech savvy, can succeed with this business model.
Technology I believe has it good points as well as it bad points. But I feel the freedoms it allows people to have in their personal lives well still earning a living, is absolutely amazing.
I wish the technology of today was available back when I first started out in the work force.
